Become an ACTIVE VOLUNTEER in the Pro-Life Movement! MAINE RIGHT TO LIFE has volunteer opportunities to accommodate your schedule and your skills. We have volunteer opportunities to work as few as a couple of hours per month as well as opportunities for people who can contribute a few hours per day. We have regular project work as well as intermittent Action Alert projects assigned on an as needed basis. We have options for people at all skill levels.

Volunteers are Vital to the Success of the Pro-Life Movement!

We have the following volunteer Team Leader position openings:

Volunteer Team Leader - Recruit, organize and manage our volunteer network - requires strong organization skills and good people skills.

Research Team Leader - Research legislative voting records, manage candidate position surveys and the ability to talk with people from all walks of life - requires ability to navigate the internet and direct other volunteers to complete required tasks.

Convention Team Leader - Complete Project Overview and Management of our Annual Convention. Requires ability to negotiate with potential speakers, hotel event managers, food service people, advertisers, printers, and other vendors.

Chapter Team Leader - Coordinate Chapter Activities to broaden effectiveness of statewide campaigns. Develop working relationships with Chapter Leaders and members. Assist local people in developing new chapters.

Mother's Day Carnation Project Team Leader - This is a very important fundraising campaign for MRLC. It requires good organizational skills and volunteer coordination. It requires the skill to successfully obtain support from churches, organizations and groups who have participated in the past and the ability to seek and obtain additional participation by new churches, organizations or groups who have not previously participated.

We have the following Volunteer position openings:

General Volunteers - General office work either on-call or on a scheduled basis.

Direct Mail Volunteers - print, fold, stuff envelopes, organize bulk mail, etc.

Phone Volunteers - volunteer request calls, contribution/donation calls, membership drive calls, whatever necessary.

Research Volunteers - assist Research Team Leader in completing projects as assigned - requires internet skills and ability to effectively complete assigned tasks.
