Over 125,000 television commercials have aired since beginning in 1999. The first campaign in 1999 lasted three months and was run on the major TV networks in the Portland and Bangor markets. Since then Maine Vitae Society expanded its TV advertising into all parts of Maine and utilizes cable as well as network.
